Call for Applications: One Ocean Science Congress

The Embassy of France to the Philippines and Micronesia launches a call for applications to fully financially support the participation of PhD holders and candidates from the Philippines, Palau, Federated States of Micronesia, and Marshall Islands to the One Ocean Science Congress to be held in Nice, France, from June 3 to 6, 2025.

Organized by the National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) and IFREMER, the One Ocean Science Congress is a Special Event of the Third United Nations Conference on the Oceans (UNOC3).

The Congress is dedicated to Science and aims to provide Heads of State, Government, and the broader society with comprehensive scientific insights on the Ocean's health and future trajectory. Science-informed decisions should enable the conservation and sustainable use of the Ocean, optimize the solutions it offers, and safeguard the services and benefits it provides to humanity.

Financial Support: The financial participation provided by the Embassy of France covers a round-trip air ticket, a daily allowance, and the registration fees.
