Extension: UPLB Student Exchange Application for 2nd Semester 2025 Mobility is Now Open!

The Office of International Linkages at the University of the Philippines - Los Baños is excited to announce the opening of the application process for the Student Exchange for the 2nd Semester (Spring 2025). This opportunity is available to both graduate (GS) and undergraduate (UG) students. Applications are now being accepted for exchange programs at the following partner universities:
● University of Niigata Prefecture, Japan (GS)
● Gyeongsang National University, South Korea (UG)
● National Sun Yat-Sen University, Taiwan (UG)
● National Chung Hsing University, Taiwan (UG)
● Tokyo University of Agriculture (Tokyo NODAI), Japan (UG)
● National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, Taiwan (UG)
Eligibility:
Must be currently enrolled at UPLB.
For UG: Must have sophomore or junior standing with a strong scholastic record
For GS: The semester of the exchange should not be their final semester in their degree program
Must demonstrate a strong interest in learning about and experiencing cultural diversity in different countries.

2. 1-page curriculum vitae
3. True Copy of Grades
4. 1 Recommendation letter from a previous or present professor in UP addressed to UPLB OIL Director Anna Floresca F. Firmalino
6. Copy of ID and Form 5
7. Photocopy of updated passport
You may opt to submit a screenshot of your SAIS displaying your Grade Weighted Average (GWA) rather than your Transcript of Records (TCG) and a list of your tentative courses instead of Form 5. However, please make sure that you have these documents readily available in case you are shortlisted, as they are essential requirements for the partner university's nomination and application process.
Please complete this online application form on or before 12 September 2024.
For undergraduate students, once accepted, you may apply for the MOVE UP Program of UP. This program is designed to provide financial support for undergraduate mobility through scholarship grants based on the UP Student Learning Assistance System (SLAS) Learning Assistance Need (LAN) Bracket Classification of applicants.
Please note that you may need to initially cover the expenses, which will be reimbursed by the grant.

Students not initially shortlisted from the six listed schools but who meet the minimum score may still receive invitations later if UPLB receives additional offers from our partner universities this semeste
