Online Application for UPLB Student Exchange: Mid Year 2025 and 1st (Fall) Semester 2025-2026

The Office of International Linkages (OIL) of the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) is pleased to announce the start of the application process for the Student Exchange Program for Mid-Year 2025 and 1st Semester (Fall) 2025–2026 mobility. Opportunities are available at the following partner universities:

- Gyeongsang National University, South Korea (Undergraduate)
- Mendel University in Brno, Czech Republic (Undergraduate)
- National Sun Yat-Sen University, Taiwan (Undergraduate)
- National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, Taiwan (Undergraduate)
- Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, Japan (Undergraduate)
- Tokyo University of Agriculture (Tokyo NODAI), Japan (Undergraduate)
- Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, Japan (Undergraduate)
- Additional universities may be announced.

Eligibility:
- Currently enrolled at UPLB.
- For Undergraduate (UG): Must have sophomore or junior standing with a strong scholastic record.
- For Graduate Students (GS): The semester of the exchange must not be the final semester in their degree program.
- Must demonstrate a strong interest in learning about and experiencing cultural diversity in different countries.

Application Process:
Please accomplish the online application form at http://bit.ly/3Wph2dS and submit the following requirements
1. Completed application form (downloadable here)
2. 1-page curriculum vitae
3. True Copy of Grades
4. 1 recommendation letter from a previous or current professor in UP, addressed to UPLB OIL Director Anna Floresca F. Firmalino
5. Copy of ID and Form 5
6. Photocopy of updated passport

You may submit a screenshot of your SAIS displaying your Grade Weighted Average (GWA) instead of your Transcript of Records (TCG) and a list of tentative courses instead of Form 5. However, ensure that you have these documents readily available if shortlisted, as they are required for the partner university’s nomination and application process.

Please complete the online application form on or before 10 February 2025.

For Undergraduate Students:
Once accepted, you may apply for the MOVE UP Program of UP, which provides financial support for undergraduate mobility. Grants are based on the UP Student Learning Assistance System (SLAS) Learning Assistance Need (LAN) Bracket Classification.
Please note that expenses may need to be initially covered by the student, but they will be reimbursed by the grant.

Students who are not initially shortlisted for the seven listed schools but meet the minimum score may still receive invitations later if UPLB secures additional offers from partner universities this semester.
