The Office of International Linkages at the University of the Philippines - Los Baños is excited to announce the opening of the application process for the Student Exchange for the 2nd Semester (Spring 2025). This opportunity is available to both graduate (GS) and undergraduate (UG) students. Applications are now being accepted for exchange programs at the following partner universities:
● University of Niigata Prefecture, Japan (GS)
● National Sun Yat-Sen University (UG)
● Mendel University in Brno, Czech Republic (UG)
● National Chung Hsing University, Taiwan (UG)
● Tokyo University of Agriculture (Tokyo NODAI), Japan (UG)
● More universities will be added

Eligibility:
Must be currently enrolled at UPLB.
For UG: Must have sophomore or junior standing with a strong scholastic record, and must have at least 15 units remaining upon their return
For GS: The semester of the exchange should not be their final semester in their degree program
Must demonstrate a strong interest in learning about and experiencing cultural diversity in different countries.

2. 1-page curriculum vitae
3. True Copy of Grades
4. 1 Recommendation letter from a previous or present professor in UP addressed to UPLB OIL Director Anna Floresca F. Firmalino
6. Copy of ID and Form 5
7. Photocopy of updated passport

You may opt to submit a screenshot of your SAIS displaying your Grade Weighted Average (GWA) rather than your Transcript of Records (TCG) and a list of your tentative courses instead of Form 5. However, please make sure that you have these documents readily available in case you are shortlisted, as they are essential requirements for the partner university's nomination and application process.

For UG, once accepted, you may apply for the MOVE UP Program of UP. The MOVE-UP Program aims to provide financial support for undergraduate mobility. This program offers scholarship grants based on the UP – Student Learning Assistance System (SLAS) Learning Assistance Need (LAN) Bracket Classification of prospective applicants. Please note that UPLB will conduct a single application process for the student exchange program for the 2nd semester 2025 mobility. Even those not initially shortlisted among the seven listed schools may receive invitations later if UPLB receives further invitations from our partner universities this semester.
