📅 Sunday, May 25, 2025 | 🕗 8:00 AM | 📍 Manila American Cemetery and Memorial, Taguig City
Greetings from the U.S. Embassy in the Philippines!
The U.S. Embassy, in partnership with the American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC), invites students, educators, and members of the academic community to the Memorial Day 2025 Commemoration on Sunday, May 25, at 8:00 AM at the Manila American Cemetery and Memorial in Taguig City.
Memorial Day is an annual observance in the United States dedicated to honoring and remembering the brave individuals who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the nation. Across the globe, ABMC sites pay tribute to over 200,000 fallen service members. At the Manila American Cemetery alone, nearly 17,000 American and Filipino patriots are laid to rest.
This commemoration is an opportunity for students and educators to engage deeply with history, reflect on the cost of freedom, and appreciate the enduring legacy of service and sacrifice.
