Be part of the 23rd International Student Summit focusing on Food, Agriculture, and Environment (ISS), set to take place from late July to early August 2024.

Tentative Timeline:
- June 4 (Tue.): PRE-SUMMIT (online) *Mandatory for all ISS participants (16:30 JST)
- June 28 (Fri.): Final Abstract Submission
- July 30 (Tue.): Arrival in Tokyo
- July 31 to Aug. 3: ISS Week
- Aug 4 (Sun.): Departure Preparation
- Aug. 5 (Mon.): Departure from Tokyo


International Assistance:
- International Airfare: Tokyo NODAI will supply international flight tickets between your university's closest international airport and Tokyo

Facilities provided by Tokyo NODAI during ISS week:
- Airport Transfer (Within Tokyo)
- Accommodation (Including Breakfast)
- Lunch and Dinner for Several Days


Eligibility Information:
Applications are open to sophomore undergraduate students and individuals who are expected to complete their studies after August 2024 at UPLB. Prospective candidates should be able to showcase either personal initiatives with a discernible impact on their community or engage in research activities associated with Food, Agriculture, and the Environment.

Special Program - Comprehensive International Education Program (CIEP):
The CIEP is an integrated learning initiative featuring lectures, field practices, and workshops, offering students the opportunity to delve into food, agriculture, and the environment in Japan and Asia. CIEP 2024 will be held a week prior to the ISS week, from July 20th to July 30th, in the Noto Region, Ishikawa Prefecture, designated as a "Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems (GIAHS)." ISS participants are encouraged to participate in this program at no cost, with participants responsible for covering transportation (Tokyo-Ishikawa), accommodation, and meals during the CIEP period (approximately JPY 50,000/student).
