This year, the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in the Philippines will once again provide various scholarship programs for qualified Filipino students. These scholarships are for Filipinos who wish to pursue degree studies (Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral Degrees) or learn Mandarin Chinese in the Republic of China (Taiwan).

To encourage more Filipino students to apply for the scholarships, it would be highly appreciated if your esteemed office can publicize the promotional materials in your institution. You may also refer to the scholarship details below: Taiwan Ministry of Education (MOE) Scholarship (Bachelors, Masters, PhD): February 1, 2024 to April 30, 2024
Benefits:

40,000 NTD tuition waiver per semester (remaining costs will be shouldered by the scholarship recipient)
Monthly stipend of 15,000 NTD for bachelors, and 20,000 NTD for masters and PhD

List of Universities and Colleges Providing Tuition and Miscellaneous Expense Discounts International Cooperation and Development Fund (TaiwanICDF) Scholarship (Selected Masters and PhD Programs): December 1, 2023 to March 15, 2024 Benefits: Full tuition fee waiver, dormitory costs, economy class airfare tickets, textbook costs, etc.
Monthly stipend of 18, 000 NTD for masters and 20, 000 NTD for PhD.

Online Application Portal Huayu (Mandarin) Enrichment Scholarship (3 or 6 months Mandarin Learning): February 1 to March 31, 2024
Benefits: Monthly stipend of 25,000 NTD to cover all the expenses (tuition, miscellaneous, etc.)
